Our first night in Albania

After reaching Ohrid lake we found an excellent restaurant called The Phoenix with a pleasant English-speaking waiter  and we ordered beer and the local fish called 'koran' which had meat like salmon.  We sat down by the water and the waves lapped against against the terrace and we relaxed and enjoyed the view. My camera gave out at this point. The meal was good - the salad had rocket, a green pepper stuffed with creamy sheep's cheese and sliced, beetroot, olives and tomato. The fish was fresh. One piece was not cooked inside but we just asked for it to go under the grill a bit longer. Our waiter was a serious young man who brought us the fish out to show us what koran were. Maros thought he was a student. I thought he had learnt hos English at school and Katka thought he walked and moved like a professional waiter. We were all right  He had just finished studying Economics in Tirana and now he worked for his father who was the owner of the restaurant and he had learnt his English at school.
We asked the waiter about nearby camps and he recommended the so-called Fish Camp which was 8km further up the road. It was also a good find. Its name in Albanian was Peshku.
When we arrived we saw there was a wedding there. There was a big stretch limosine parked on the grass decorated with red and white ribbons. There was also a Dutch camper van with a satellite dish and on the other side an older couple of British intellectuals who slept in a tent beside their Albanian car. Then there was us. There were beach loungers set out, a nice jetty and a fantastic sunset. There wad electricity and good showers and toilets. The total price was 10 Eur a night for us in total.
On the site there was a cafe restaurant and fish ponds. There were Albanian wedding guests and there were happy sounds of celebration but nothing very loud or disturbing. I decided to sleep out in the tent.
Maros has read that the Albanians are a very proud nation and that once we were on the campsite nothing would happen to us or be stolen as we would be under the protection of the owner.
In the morning we packed up and I went to the cafe to use the wifi to publish the most recent posts. Maros went for a swim.
