Barcelos to Casas da Rio

Today we are breaking the long section from Barcelos to Ponte de Lima, which is 34km, into two sections. We had a good cafe con leche and bowl of cereal at the albergue and set off through the historical centre of Barcelos at just after 6. The path is more up and down, with more nice villages and woods and vineyards. We ran into some of our pilgrim friends again. Then as it began to grew hot around 12 we decided to stop at Casas da Rio where we got the last free room - the bridal suite for 25 eur each. There is also a pool and jacuzzi. Not bad for poor dusty pilgrims.
