I finally had the opportunity to try the menu de dia at a small pleasant family run restaurant in a quiet square. When I arrived it was empty and when I left all the tables were taken. In the afternoon I slept and read.
Later Lynn from Oregon came and invited me to join Kelly her daughter and a Canadian Mariangel and a Brit called James for some wine in the kitchen area. I had water with them and ate an evening sandwich. I then went to the pilgrim's mass at the Iglesia de Santa Cruz. The priest talked to all the pilgrims after and we got a stamp and signed the register and each rang the bell 3 times.
I noticed on the town map that some Czechs had got here first.
