I started walking in the cool overcast morning at 6.45 and managed to find the camino from the village when I met two nice Irish women coming from Burgos. We had breakfast together in Tajdajoa. Then up over the hill and down again to Hornillos de Camino where I saw a sign telling me I had completed 300 km.
I had a good chat with a Korean woman who had studied for 4 years in Bournemouth and who was called Seong Bong. When we said goodbye, she gave me some packets of seaweed and I gave her my Dorset luggage tag which she seemed to like.
I am now at an interesting little aubergue in the middle of nowhere. Very nice design and relaxing place. Right now there is just me and a young French man.
