Today I walked with Irina from Slovenia and we managed the 24km in 8 hours with 3 decent breaks. Mountains have appeared on the horizon. The weather was warm and cloudy and not too hot. I must say that I was very tired when we finally got to Aubergue Ada in Reliegos.
In the second village we walked through - Burgo Ranero, we stopped at a cafe where the woman greeted us on the street with coffee. Someone (the rival cafe up the road perhaps) had glued the doors of her cafe shut so she was offering pilgrims coffee and a pastry for a donation. We then had to climb in through the cafe window to go to the toilet!
Tomorrow if I manage another 24km we will get to Leon.
